We are looking for a DevOps engineer who is passionate about building and
maintaining cloud infrastructure and applications. The ideal candidate cares deeply

Location: Cairo Office in Heliopolis OR Remotely

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of software development concepts
  • Basic understanding of DevOps principles and practices
  • Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git
  • Awareness of monitoring and logging tools and practices
  • Good command of English language; written and spoken
  • Basic understanding with database administration, data stores, and ERDs
  • Excellent communication skills

Optional Skills:

  • Experience with prominent cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Knowledge of web development concepts and frontend/backend frameworks
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
  • Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell)
  • Familiarity with database administration and optimization
  • Experience with microservices architecture
  • Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies
  • Open source contributions

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure for both internal and client-facing
projects
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve application deployment and operations
  • Implement and manage containerization and orchestration solutions
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of cloud-based systems
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) for consistent and repeatable
deployments
  • Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions
  • Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for critical systems
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize cloud resource utilization and costs
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices
  • Participate in brainstorming and planning sessions for new projects and improvements
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide
