Content Developer – Marketing Team | Siera Light

Location: New Cairo, Egypt

About the Role:

Siera Light is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Content Developer to join our Marketing team in New Cairo. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for developing compelling content that engages our audience, supports our marketing campaigns, and strengthens our brand presence across digital platforms.

You’ll work closely with the content and digital teams to write blogs, web copy, email campaigns, product descriptions, social media plans, and more—all aligned with SEO and branding best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write and edit content for blogs, websites, emails, social media, and product pages
• Plan and execute quarterly, half-year, and annual content strategies
• Create content calendars and marketing roadmaps
• Rewrite and update existing content for a fresh, modern tone
• Apply SEO techniques and keyword research to improve visibility and traffic
• Collaborate with the digital and creative teams to ensure consistent messaging
• Proofread and review content developed by other team members
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date on industry trends and tools
• Ensure brand tone, voice, and guidelines are followed across all content

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in content creation, copywriting, or digital writing
• Strong grammar, editing, and writing skills in English and Arabic
• Working knowledge of SEO and CMS platforms (Salla, WordPress, etc.)
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the lighting or e-commerce industry
• A portfolio showcasing writing samples
• Familiarity with online marketplaces like Amazon, Noon, or Zed
• Enthusiastic, proactive, and open to feedback
