Qualify new suppliers and ensure parts meet spec before assembly or delivery.
Maintain a pool of freelance professionals (engineers, designers).
Knowledge Sharing and Community
Mentor specialists, junior engineers, interns, and community makers on CAD/CAM, prototyping techniques, and machine operation.
Deliver occasional workshops and internal training..
Requirements

Experience working with vendors for part manufacture and finishing.
Strong project management, organization, and client-communication skills.
Ability to deliver accurate technical quotations and documentation quickly.
Maker, doer, proactive, comfortable with open-ended problems.
Demonstrated ability to find innovative solutions where there are no precedents.
