That's why we're looking for a talented, passionate, curious, and resourceful QA Engineer Interns to jumpstart a career in tech and join Procore's journey to revolutionize a historically underserved industry.

As a QA Engineer Intern at Procore, you will participate in building new test automation frameworks for our rapidly growing products. Develop, maintain, and execute test automation scripts and work closely with the development and QA teams to deliver a high-quality product.

This position will report to the QA Engineering Manager on one of our P&T teams and will be based in the Cairo, Egypt office. We're looking for someone to join our team in Summer 2025.

What you’ll do:

• Plan, design, develop, and maintain automated tests to enhance the quality of our web-based software applications and services
• Automate and execute functional UI and API end-to-end tests as well as integration tests
• Comply with project coding standards and industry best practices
• Work on a shared code base, in a team environment, cooperating with co-located and remote team members
• Improve software quality by conducting systems analysis, participating in designing test charters, and recommending changes in policies and procedures,
• Participate in planning for software development projects, and ensure projects are concluded according to the planned delivery dates
• Represent the team in collaborations with partners and clients as needed
• Analyzes test results to determine where application bugs exist and where tests need improvement
• Verify that the implemented software meets the business requirements

What we’re looking for:

• 0-1 year of software web development experience and/or software automation testing.
• Good knowledge of industry testing/development best practices
• Good knowledge and understanding of OOP concepts and implementation
• Good knowledge of test automation using Python, Java, C#, Selenium, Cypress, SQL, etc.
• Good understanding of software testing methodologies, QA tools, and Agile principles
• Good understanding of software engineering and OOP concepts
• Strong problem-solving and research skills
• Basic understanding of the full web stack
• Basic understanding of HTML/JS/CSS concepts
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
