Social Media Specialist
Department: Media Team
Reports To: Digital Media Manager
Overview
The Social Media Specialist is responsible for publishing approved content across all client platforms and generating performance reports to inform future planning. This role ensures content goes live accurately, on time, and in full alignment with the approved publishing plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and publish approved content across all platforms (IG, LinkedIn, FB, etc.)
- Ensure formatting, hashtags, tags, and CTA accuracy per post
- Monitor publishing schedules and coordinate with Account Managers
- Organize Drive folders and publishing logs
- Track content performance weekly/monthly (reach, engagement, saves, etc.)
- Generate monthly and quarterly performance reports using internal templates
- Support internal performance review presentations
- Coordinate with Media Buyer for overlap between organic and paid content
KPIs:
- On-time, error-free publishing of all content
- Quality and accuracy of monthly performance reports
- Internal team satisfaction with publishing reliability
- Low rate of client-side publishing corrections
- Growth in content performance over time
Required Skills & Experience:
- 1 - 2 years in social media execution or platform management
- Strong understanding of Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook native tools
- Organized, methodical, and reliable in managing schedules
- Experience reporting on performance metrics using platform insights
- Comfort working in fast-paced, multi-client environments
Tools & Platforms:
- Meta Business Suite
- LinkedIn Page Admin tools
- Google Sheets / Slides (for reports)
- Google Drive
- ClickUp (for task flow and publishing schedule tracking)
