Full job description

  • Post order on ProABD “ Pro Auto Broker Dispatch “ and edit with any changes in “shipment or pickup time”.
  • Post orders on central dispatch platform to get drivers pricing.
  • Contact customers and negotiate rates with drivers and carriers.
  • Vet the drivers and carriers as follows:
  • Check MC number “Motor Carrier Number” on safer web to get owner’s phone number.
  • Contact the owner to confirm identity.
  • Review the post on central dispatch.
  • Request W9 form “Commercial registration “form.
  • Check the COI “certificate of insurance “.
  • Obtain driver’s name “ phone number ,copy of driver’s license, Zell account , venmo account if needed”
  • Add driver to micropoint.
  • Check task sheet and follow up on the pending deliveries for the day.
  • Check ETAs “Estimated Time of Arrival” through Micropoint, and contact despatcher or the driver to follow up.
  • Update the customer periodically with shipment status and any changes.
  • Check the driver’s progress till delivery.
  • Incase of B to B inform the director and confirm payment.
  • Upon delivery obtain BOL” Bill of lading”.
  • Contact the customer and issue invoice to collect payment.
  • Keep track of paid and unpaid invoices.
  • Manage CRM “Customer relations “with our clients “dealerships” to ensure customer satisfaction and ongoing business.
  • Conduct cold calls to sign in new customers “dealerships”.
  • Assist with hot leads in down time.

Job Requirements

Education:

  • Excellent command of the English language with American accent.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree ).

Experience:

  • Proven experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain operations is a plus.
  • Customer service experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with track-and-trace systems and logistics software is a plus.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in logistics and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or TMS) is a plus.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.
