Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior IT Specialist to join our team on-site. In this role, you will provide technical support, maintain IT systems, and assist with troubleshooting hardware and software issues. Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-level support for IT issues, including hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
• Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems, peripherals, and software.
• Respond promptly to user inquiries and ensure timely resolution of technical problems.
• Maintain and update IT documentation, including user manuals and troubleshooting guides.
• Monitor system performance and provide regular updates to senior IT staff.
• Support IT projects, including system upgrades and migrations.
• Ensure data security and compliance with company policies.
• Perform basic server maintenance and backups.

QualificationsEducation:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

• 0–2 years of experience in IT support or a related field (internship experience is acceptable).

Skills:

• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VPN).
• Familiarity with Windows/Mac operating systems and common office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Certifications (Preferred):

• CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent certifications.

Work Environment

• On-site position requiring regular interaction with team members and users.
• Occasional after-hours or weekend work may be necessary during system updates or emergencies.
