Company Profile:
We are a leading company in Libya specialising in various activities in the construction sector and in different industries with more than 2000 employees and 9 different subsidiaries. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to assume a crucial role in personnel management, overseeing a workforce of over 2000 employees. The ideal candidate should be adept at recruiting, managing existing staff, developing processes and workflows, and expanding the current employee skill set.

Position: Human Resources Manager - Libya

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Take charge of Human Resources functions, overseeing a large workforce of over 2000 employees.
  • Lead recruitment efforts to attract top talent and ensure a diverse and skilled team.
  • Develop and implement effective onboarding and training programs for new and existing employees.
  • Manage and enhance employee relations, including conflict resolution and performance management.
  • Design and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with department heads to align Human Resources strategies with organizational goals.
  • Assess and improve the current skill and knowledge levels of the workforce.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within HR functions.
  • Experience in using ERP systems and other relevant software applications for HR management.
  • Collaborate with various departments to understand certin requirements and provide appropriate solutions.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in Human Resources management, particularly in overseeing large teams.
  • Demonstrated success in recruitment, onboarding, and talent development.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Experience in conflict resolution, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align Human Resources strategies with business objectives.
  • Previous experience in expanding employee skill sets and knowledge levels.
  • Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities and presentation skills in English and Arabic.


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • HR certification is advantageous.

The position is based in Libya. Applicants must be willing and able to work in Libya.
