Duties & Responsibilities:

• Designing, configuring, integrating, and implementing of process control solutions for Oil & Gas and Petrochemicals industries.
• Design control system architectures and develop control strategies to meet project requirements and industry standards.
• Program and configure PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMIs (Human Machine Interfaces) using industry-standard software (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio, Honeywell Experion®).
• Develop and implement communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, OPC) for data exchange between control devices and supervisory systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation requirements, develop specifications, and define project scope and objectives.
• Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning to ensure proper functionality and performance of automation systems.
• Provide technical support and training to operations and maintenance personnel on control system operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance procedures.
• Review, Develop, and Prepare project documentation and drawings following standards, practices, and use of company engineering tools.
• Calculate Heat Dissipation and Power Consumption for various types of cabinet and consoles.
• Develop cabinet designs for various systems, including but not limited to DCS, SIS, Server / Networking and Marshalling.
• Knowledge of the field instrumentation (sensors, transducers, drives related to Pressure, Flow, Temperature, Level etc).
• Design, configure, conduct FAT and commissioning of control systems.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in automation, control systems, and industrial networking.
• Participate in project planning, estimation, and scheduling activities to ensure timely delivery of automation solutions within budget constraints.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards while executing automation projects.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, and instrument loop sheets.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in automation engineering, including PLC programming, HMI/SCADA development, and industrial control systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as ladder logic, structured text, or function block diagram.
• Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Modbus) and communication standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex systems and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Project management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Knowledge of Cybersecurity in OT Systems.
• Proven technology skills in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and EPLAN.
• Attention to detail, plus analytical and problem-solving capabilities, and a Positive, service-oriented personality.
• A high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and a desire to learn about new technologies.
• Fluent in English.
• Availability to travel.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Communication Engineering.
