Job Summary

As a Software Project Specialist, you will support the development team by managing the flow of communication, ensuring clarity in requirements, and assisting in the execution of software tasks. You will be involved in everything from reviewing client briefs and proposals to performing light technical activities such as testing, CMS tasks, and technical reviews. The role blends project oversight with a hands-on technical understanding — ideal for developers who also enjoy planning, quality control, and client interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze project and tender documents to gather detailed technical requirements
  • Work with the development team to prepare technical proposals, estimates, and BOQs
  • Write and review user stories, wireframes, and functional/technical specifications
  • Perform light technical tasks such as:
  • Testing mobile and web applications before delivery
  • Uploading content or data into CMS or control panels
  • Reviewing Git commits and ensuring alignment with project requirements
  • Translate briefs and documents between English and Arabic with high technical accuracy
  • Attend client meetings to understand needs and relay them clearly to the development team
  • Monitor timelines, development status, and follow up with stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery
  • Assist with staging deployments and preparing demo versions for client reviews
  • Answer queries related to technical scope, clarifications, or progress updates

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Familiarity with full-stack development concepts (front-end, back-end, APIs, databases)
  • Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic server-side languages (e.g., PHP, Python, Node.js)
  • Fluent in both English and Arabic (written and spoken)
  • Comfortable working with tools such as Git, Trello, Jira, or Notion
  • Prior experience in software coordination, QA, or client-facing roles is a plus

Preferred Skills

  • Understanding of UI/UX design principles and mobile app structure
  • Agile/Scrum familiarity
  • Experience writing manuals, proposals, or technical documentation
  • Ability to learn new tools quickly and support technical teams in QA, reviews, or client demos
