Role Objective / Purpose

The Interior Designer is responsible for creating functional, aesthetic, and innovative interior design solutions that align with client requirements and project specifications. The role involves developing interior layouts, materials selection, and mood boards while ensuring compliance with design standards and local Egyptian regulations. The Interior Designer will work closely with the UAE-based design team to maintain brand consistency, contribute to client presentations and support fit-out execution teams for timely and quality delivery.

Responsibilities

• Prepare conceptual and detailed interior design layouts, including floor plans, ceiling plans, material boards, and 3D visualizations.
• Collaborate with the architectural, MEP, and project teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
• Participate in client meetings to understand project requirements, spatial needs, and aesthetic preferences.
• Develop mood boards, color schemes, and furniture layouts that reflect the client’s vision and project objectives.
• Create detailed interior drawings and BOQs for fit-out execution and procurement purposes.
• Source materials, finishes, and FF&E selections in line with project budget and design direction.
• Ensure all designs comply with local Egyptian codes, accessibility standards, and fire safety requirements.
• Coordinate closely with the UAE design team to maintain design alignment and share best practices.
• Conduct site visits to supervise the implementation of design elements and ensure quality control.
• Participate in value engineering exercises while maintaining design intent and project timelines.
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors for sample approvals, quotations, and material deliveries.
• Assist in the preparation of design proposals, technical submissions, and presentations for bids.
• Support the documentation and submission process for authority approvals when required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or related discipline from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in interior design, preferably in commercial, residential, or hospitality fit-out projects in Egypt.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Photoshop, and MS Office; knowledge of Revit is a plus.
• Strong ability to visualize design concepts and translate them into presentation-quality visuals.
• Familiarity with local Egyptian design trends, materials, and authority requirements.
• Excellent communication and client interaction skills.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to multitask and manage deadlines effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to design excellence.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: E£1.00 - E£2.00 per month
