What is this role?

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable General Accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting functions, including preparing journal entries, maintaining balance sheets and ledgers, assisting with monthly closings, and supporting audits. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy and integrity in financial reporting and compliance with applicable laws and standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting transactions.
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Ensure an accurate and timely month-end close by preparing various journal entries and account reconciliations for cash, prepaid, accruals, fixed assets, and inter-company accounts.
• Update accounts receivable and issue invoices.
• Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations.
• Analyzing bank statements and recording their transactions.
• Petty Cash Accounts & related G.L Entries.
• Assist with annual audit with external auditors

Requirements

• BSc in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant degree
• 1-2 years of proven experience as an Accountant
• Experience with general ledger functions
• Hands-on experience with accounting software like Dynamics 365
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent knowledge of Excel
• Very good in English
