Honestly there are just so many things that are wrong with JTI USA that there aren't enough characters to write. I would say the biggest issue is a lack of C-Suite level leadership. you will find front line managers doing day to day mundane tasks while directors are overly prescriptive of things that shouldn't even be in their scope of vision. The micro managing here is just incredible. Couple that with a true lack of strategic direction and you have a bomb. People come in an out of the organization like a revolving door. They do not have a grasp on career / succession planning, so when vacancies come up instead of promoting from within, they need to look for resources outside of the organization. The amount of people that are either fired or leave also add to a very demotivating enviornment where job security is on the minds of many.
