. Backend Integration Engineer

Job Description:
The Backend Integration Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems and APIs to ensure seamless integration between applications and services. This role involves collaborating with frontend developers, database administrators, and other stakeholders to deliver robust and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services into existing systems.
• Optimize backend performance and ensure scalability.
• Troubleshoot and debug integration issues.
• Collaborate with frontend teams to ensure smooth data flow.
• Implement security and data protection measures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in backend development and integration.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, or Ruby.
• Experience with API design, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and cloud services.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proven experience integrating with Foodics and/or Micros POS systems.
• Proficiency in NestJS, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Strong understanding of backend architecture and microservices.
• Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From E£10,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Foodics and/or Micros POS systems: 1 year (Required)
• NestJS, TypeScript, and Node.js: 1 year (Required)
• RESTful APIs and third-party integrations: 1 year (Required)
